From a Cornish farming family, Toby has always had a passion for auctions, starting his career in livestock sales with Kivells.

After graduating from Harper Adams University with a degree in Rural Enterprise and Land Management, Toby swapped cattle for chattels, working for auction houses in The Midlands and Somerset, before moving to Bearnes Hampton & Littlewood in January 2025.

Toby has a wide knowledge in various fields and enjoys assisting in all departments, particularly furniture. He has several years experience of auctioneering. In addition to Toby’s in-house skills, he also undertakes valuation day events and home visits around Devon and Cornwall.  

Outside of work Toby assists on the family farm.
